The genesis of the K.V.
Kendriya Vidyalaya, CRPF Mokamaghat was started on 17/08/1982 in the CRPF Campus from classes I to V of two Sections each initially one old Building provided by CRPF Authorities of about 25 rooms with the Growth of classes few more class rooms scattered in about 10 acr. Area was provided by CRPF Mokamaghat.
Important Milestone of growth
After it started Class I to V in 1982 every year the new class was added and with the need few more class rooms were provided by CRPF authorities and then new Building was constructed in 2007 and now the Vidyalaya is full fledged Higher Secondary School. In 1982 Sh. R. N. Singh was the First Principal of the Vidyalaya and now Sh. J. F. Khan is the Eleventh Principal of the Vidyalaya.
Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present status
Kendriya Vidyalaya, CRPF Mokamaghat started form the academic session 1982-83 upto class V. Gradually, year by year it reach to higher and higher classes and in 1987-88 the first batch of class X appeared for the Board Examination. The need of additional Building was felt and the new Building with 16 class rooms was constructed in 2007. The XI (Science) was started from academic session 2003-04 and XI (Commerce) from 2008-09. Now the Vidyalaya has grown upto + 2 level with XII Science and Commerce streams.

The Vidyalaya is having 9.3 acres of land leased for 99 years with effect from 23/10/2001. As it is Higher Secondary School, it has well developed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computers Labs. In addition to this there are Maths Lab and junior Computer Lab. The Playground was levelled in the year 2008 and new Basketball Court is made in the same year. There is a Facility of Indoor and Outdoor Games. The Vidyalaya students take part in School level, Cluster Level, Regional level and National level Games. Well-equipped Games & Sports rooms with qualified TGT (Physical & Health Education) is available. For expertising students in various Games a Coach in Games & Sports is also engaged. There are more then 5517 Books in the Library for the use of Students and Teachers. The sanctioned strength of the staff member of the Vidyalaya is 45, out of this 42 are regular.
